Three Drink Minimum #4: Name Brand Crackers!!

This week’s rolicking episode starts off with John drinking “boxed wine” (is there any other kind?) and Alan enjoys what Dogfish Head brewery thinks Egyptians probably drank before Islam hit the scene.

This week’s visit from the Culture Vulture is Spem In Alium arranged by Thomas Tallis and sung by the Tallis Scholars.

Special thanks to our sponsor “Name Brand Crackers”

Alan and John play “What would happen” in a distopian welfare state with a vixen heroine entrepreneur, a mysterious stranger who’s also an entrepreneur, and how, in that world, a strong currency is the most powerful weapon of all.

Finally, we start talking about gay marriage in the Religion/Family/Politics segment. We maybe bite off more than we can chew. Then again, maybe you're all jerks.

Three Drink Minimum #3: Jacks of All Trades

We’ve been lazy. We’re sorry. This week we’re joined by our first special guest Eliot. He’s eager, he’s a liberal, he doesn’t have a last name!

It’s a mixed bag of drinks this week:

John/Eliot – Hoo-gardens and some form of red wine

This week’s Attack from the Culture Vulture we listen to the Boss’s latest studio album Wrecking Ball. Here’s a few of the cuts we discuss:

Shackled and Drawn

We Are Alive:

This episode, we pretend we have another sponsor: Segway Offroad with apologies to the former CEO.

What Would Happen:
We discuss the Gilligan/hapless henchman archetype
The Rainman/Andre the Giant archetypes - two sides of the same retarded coin?

Finally, we lose the end of the conversation due to some Skype issues but we get into a semi-intelligent debate about healthcare and welfare with Eliot. Alan rambles, John tries to keep him on track, and Eliot makes some fairly succinct points (too bad he’s wrong). If Alan could have just gotten to the point of his story about the pre-Great Society healthcare system, Eliot and the rest of our audience would see that. Tune in next time!

Three Drink Minimum #2: Comic Book Minds

This week, your hosts talk about the importance of Leinenkugel, unknown bottles of wine, and the cutting edge snack known as "popcorn". It comes with butter now.

In our new Culture Vulture segment, we talk about a little gem called "Wait Until Dark" starring Audrey Hepburn and Alan Arkin here's the trailer from 1967.

Do you like the "What would happen" game? How about two guys ironing out the details to their imaginary "What would happen" game?

In Religion and Politics, we discuss the virtues of private charities vs. the welfare state.

Send us comments on the show and stay tuned for next week's episode where Bruce Springsteen's "Wrecking Ball" gets a visit from the Culture Vulture.

Three Drink Minimum: Episode I

It's our first attempt at a podcast. Be nice. Or don't. As you can tell from this episode, we don't really give a damn either way. Hope you like it! Thanks again to our non-sponsor Old Style Lager.

We're too lazy to do infographics so deal with it.

Check out the Revolution trailer too or you won't understand 90% of the podcast.
